Lovely 50km ride from geneva to annecy this afteroon. Just the 500m of climbing today but everything I can see from here looks pretty serious. 19T sprocket is not gonna make things easy. Might hire a pedalo instead, the lake looks invitingly flat.

I'll be playing at the Garage this Wednesday.
Owen's clearly trying to keep this information from Northies. I wonder why. :)
I'm planning to go. Anyone else?

Oliver
Owen knows that anyone who lives in North London will know that the venue is far from perfect and when I say that I'm really biting my tongue.
I like Owen, I mean, who can't like the simple beauty of this:
but nothing will persuade me to return to that venue. -

I know the venue, too, arvy. It won't dissuade me from going. :)

Have you been since it's rennovation by the engery drink company? The accoustics have improved dramatically. But yes, it was a shithole back in the day. I always preffered the upstairs bar for gigs the garage.

Hm, I think the last time I was at the Garage was in 2000, so maybe claiming that I 'know the venue' is over-egging the pudding slightly.

And me!

Anyone got an old BB lockring they can bring up the hill tomorrow? Without it my new suicide hub might not get me back down again...

Its tuesday.
Time for you all to gather at the foot of Swains lane and ride up there like you ALL do every week to the top to The Flask for a rewarding pint or two.
Bless this day.
Bless all those who DO actually ride Swains Lane. And for those of you who dont climb Swains Lane see you in hell.

I'm not really liking the SA's new name.

Is it a full moon or something - had 3 or 4 separate issues on the way across town this morning - White Van, Pedestrian, Other cyclist etc
Did I inadvertently wear my Rapha cloak of invisibility this morning? Was I actually travelling faster than the speed of light?
I will be powering up Swains later on - as early as my employ will allow - but can't stay out too late - got a trip tomorrow - won't be here for your gig Owen - sorry.
Arvy - the Relentless Garage is much better when they aren't actually playing Relentless Garage (and when you've had 3 bottles of Ale) - you may have to wear a diguise though after the letter you wrote to management last time.

Have you considered cycle training?

Will hopefully be up a bit later on tonight as I have to rip my flat apart looking for my passport - if I find it I will reward myself with beer and pizza, if not.....who knows :(
