In for a ride tomorrow. What's the meet time/place Mr5000?

Evening All - A few factors at play tomorrow - my weather forecast says it will rain from about 10am and it now transpires I need to be back home by 11am.

So despite plans to not be a painfully early I propose 8.30 am start from Crouch End clocktower/ 8.45 Highbury Corner - into town: Parks, Buckingham Palace, Embankment, out to Greenwich, Under the river, Docklands, Brick Lane Bagels, home - c 25 miles - essentially flat (apart from the Observatory).

Easy to cut it short if the weather is pants - lovely ride if it's not.

As for kit - I'm going for gears & lycra (some long fastish sections - nice to have some easy speed) - but may ride the cross bike (mudguards) if it looks dire.

Who is still in?

We dont get a may bank holiday down here. We do get the queens birthday though. Wich is random but I wont complain.

T'was a lovely ride all - nice & warm - bit of sunshine - closed roads to ride along the river - lovely views from the observatory - deserted docklands and East End - fresh slab of salt beef just as we arrived. Mmm
