well i saw johnny outside, was gonna get some risers for my birds bike when it comes but someone just beat me to the red annodized one so have to go back........found out that that guy who owns the place will send my frame to get sprayed so am taking it to him on monday, he said it will be much cheaper than other places so its all good!!!

well i have been doing a lot of private work of late and may get more on the way so........

apparently it takes eleven hours to drive to berlin from london... we could rent a van!? but that probably would be incredibly expensive on the gasoline end of things. pinky and i did discuss efficient bike packaging techniques last night... resigning myself to flying..

acttuallyyy.. say said van gets 35 mpg, on diesel, and diesel costs 1.07/litre, that's approximately a fiver a gallon. according to google maps, berlin is 684 miles away, 684/35*5=97.7... so 100 pounds on gas, split between us... not bad... ok my official vote is roadtrip. it's the american way!

I have driven Cornwall to Berlin, it took 19 hours and that was really going for it. Just 2 30 minute stops and the ferry. Bike bags and Air Berlin is the way i would go!

A 700 mile road trip in northern Europe in Winter could end up being a nightmare. I had 2 weeks in Berlin to recover, if you are on a limited time scale I would be getting there asap and enjoying the city for the maximum time.

Or rethink the time you are going there. Berlin is lovely in Spring, such a green city. You may even get some time in at one of the beaches.
