Thankyou everyone.
Thumb is properly fucked and is looking not very good.
Bike i was on the genesis pedaling up a hill standing up when the pedal axle sheered just after were you would attach the spanner. Funny thing was my foot was still strapped in to the pedal when i tried to get up and realized i laughed and the car that stopped behind me to see if i was ok thought it very strange.
Cant hold the bars or brake so im walking for a few days which my knee is swollen a little too.
As for scotch eggs and cider that sounds good and i might head there if i get my chores done which are taking slightly longer than thought. -

Im not too bad thankfully, I can still ride ok, its just sore to breath deeply which kind of limits how fast you can go.
Justin - I hope the thumb heals up quick - have you had it x-rayed?

Cant be bothered sitting in the hospital for 6hours or so just for them to tell me its fucked as there isn't much they can do.
But thanks for the concern.

Lollystick and electrical tape, it's pretty much what the hospital would do anyway.
Seriously tho, it is sensible getting it looked at, you could loose a lot of movement in your thumb if it heals wonky, then it'll be no hitch-hiking for you any more.

I've just 'done a Geoff', as Ben likes to say, and got a blood blister on the side of my left index finger from closing a multi-tool. Can I go on the list please? I did it whilst adjusting one of my cleats so it is technically a cycling injury.

Is that a thumb or a dick grafted onto the hand?

Lies.
You don't wear cleats.
I put my back out on the weekend and have man flu.
Does that count?

Given my success with them today, I won't be wearing the cunting things again in a hurry.
