Guys HELP! My Macbook has taken a turn for the worse and I need compatible reinstall disks as soon as possible - can anyone help?

Can the apple store covent garden not help? Just say you've lost the disc, you never know got to be worth asking. If not, which osx were you running? Should be able to get a torrent of it from somewhere if i haven't still got mine knocking around at home

Thanks - how would I find out what OSX i was running if I can't get the flipping thing to start up?
