Don't do it Andy. I've enjoyed hearing there is someone else out there who despite being quite reasonable most of the time regresses to a very sweary 10 year old during sport.

Cheers Ed for the ride on the tandem, it wasn't any sort of real distance but I had so much fun. Definitely up for some more tandem action if you are.

The sad bit was my bike felt dog slow after that, and actually a bit uncomfortable!

Wish I'd seen the tandem in action up the hill tonight. Sounded awesome, as long as you weren't descending West Hill on the back seat.

how quick were you and nurseholiday, ed? you both absolutely flew down the hill on the way to swains, I thought 'bloody hell he's moving quicker than me and he's only just rolling' lol very entertaining, nice to see everynody again and well done rowan for being new and coming up to norths :)

Got back from a meeting in Chelmsford at 9, grabbed bike to head up the hill and found a flat rear tyre. Tried to pump said tyre up only for it to deflate instantly. Weighed up my options and had a curry with beer at home. Gutted I missed the tandem, but would have been too late anyway, I suspect.

Anyways, I will be out of the country for 3 weeks so will raise a glass every Tuesday to Norths in whatever country I'm in. Stay safe folks and enjoy the wonderful summery weather predicted for the coming days/weeks.
