nice mixed bag of post payday treats, and given that i live in the sticks and commute by bike thought i should relaly do it a bit more properly, especially as now the clocks have changed its not properly dark on my commute!
So to add to the exposure traceR that arrived last week, i got some vittoria rubinos in 28mm (ive always quite liked them and wasn't 100% that a 28mm tyre would fit under my mudguards so thought id try these for now and if they dont work i can always go for something a little more expensive) together with a solartech x3 light from ebay, some look keo classic pedals so i'm not using expensive pedals, and finally some energy gels for the few races i still have left this season!

Won a 2nd hand Chinese crabon 60mm wheelset on eBay the other day at a very good price. Turned up today absolutely spotless. Also chucked in tyres, tubes, valves and carbon brake pads. Seems too good to be true, I think I'll get my LBS to give them a check-over...

Got two builds planned, Pre-Cursa and I'm finally putting gears on my Condor.
This weeks haul:
Front derailleur clamp is too big though so will have to re-sell and re-source. -

I had given up hope on this:
ordered & paid on 2014 09 19!
But the seller claimed 'Customs' had been opening parcels to check for contraband,
so gave them another week, and it arrived this morning.
took a while to find these 'both ends' right angle USB to micro USB
to allow aged Nokia N8, (good GPS device, but poor old battery and no original Nokia replacement batteries available),
and
(so far) weatherproof bike mounted case
and finally
Admittedly cable could be a little shorter,
but the right angle connections should prevent the continuous 'charging/charging complete'
messages as previous 'straight' cable flexed the usb charging point in the N8.
4500mAH should see me through the day.
