the hubs are for a 29er ss wheel set
the ceramic bottom brackets are for the road and fixie skid bikes
then there are hub conversion kits, a spare hubshell kit for either my geared mtb or the roadbike wheelset
I know this is opening a can of worms but Y U NO GO HOPE INSTEAD?

I have Chris King hubs on my road and mountain bikes already and the service tool.
I also have a Chris King BB and greasing device.
So will have most of my bikes equipped with Chris King bits that I can service myself, in this parcel additionally got a spare free hub body and seal kits. And one bike fully kitted out with Hope components.

fair enough, why did you go CK over Hope the first time round?

He's a Royalist rather than a Believer.

I got a bike 2ndhand that came with ck hubs and headset and already had a CK headset on another bike.
When I was looking to build a set of MTB wheels I found a set of CK hubs cheap on eBay a few years ago. So for completion and servicing sticking with them.
When building the commuto x bike was given the chance to do it all with Hope bits so went for them.
CK hubs make an obnoxious noise, so go well with me.

ah ok I have never owned anything CK, have a hope wheelset and another hope wheelset in the pipeline, is CK worth spending the extra money on? and why?

To be honest I would probably never feel the difference between 90% of bike parts. But I am a magpie and like nice shiny things. Also with brands like Hope and CK customer service is good and they are user serviceable which appeals to me and both tend to have a reputation for reliability. Of course they can get messed up but generally people seem happy with them.
It is nice to get nice things.

Been finding the SLR Flow on the road bike to be too soft (specifically, the shell), plus it feels a bit narrow for me, so I'm going to try this.

Let us know how you get on with this. Love the original Flites but would like to try one of these out.

This came along
Which is to go with this - which came almost two months ago.
Now I have nothing to moan about on the MTB apart from my weak body.

"Now I have nothing to moan about... apart from my weak body."
Plenty of reason then...

£25 posted and in excellent condition: well chuffed.
3rd gen group is now complete which means the 2nd gen is spare.
It would go well on an early-Nineties TT frame I have and Monoplaners look hot, but I could do with the cash...
