  • I own a lock too.

  • I already have the chain lock with the cute little New York thingy, I suspect the new one isn't going to fit through the links
I meant to double up. If you're locks don't weigh more than your bike you are not trying hard enough.

  • I got a white SLR in the post today..

MA3K: Those Fuh locks are crazy! I complain when I have to put a normal Mini in my bag.. damn!

that saddle looks like concorde coming in to land!

Metal rails, hippy?!? Shame on you!

  • Is this the same thing? I know it's a total cunt when something you've just bought is cheaper somewhere else but, Roberto, you have done us the good turn of showing us the way...

Is it the same (or a mere Marlowe to your one's Shakespeare)?

    McDuck.

  • no its a larger version.

those locks are definetly not worth £50

The faghhetaboutit is in an different leauge.

the krytonite 3000 is a generic low-end lock under that facade, with a very basic lock mechanism which is easily pickable by the intermediate lock picker.

I have a similar one myself, serves me fine in Birmingham. Only cost £6 though.

I have the carbon railed version and the standard (hollow titanium rails) version that Hippy has just got, both in white, and there is only 12 grams between them (contrary to Selle Italia's claims).

This was enough to cause a riot in weightweenieland.

We rioted by riding our bikes with slightly heavy tyres.

  • here's my boned down ti slr, it was scuffed and ripped until i got my hands on it, never weighed it though...
rode it to oxford no problemo, must be the comfiest sadle my arse has ever sat on.

Nah, that one only goes up to 11, mine goes up to 12.

  • yeah, good stuff raymondo

  • bit of a clean....and the saddle will be as good as new! woop! 135g how can that be wrong?

  • Records from Half Way Tree, Ja.
    Saddle from Essex

  • Got the Cinelli Alter stem for the bareknuckle yesterday now I just have to grind it out to fit a 1.125 steerer

  • alters are made to fit 1" and 1 1/8" ;)

  • Oh dear BLUSH - oh well it won't take long to shave it down a little

  • bit of a clean....and the saddle will be as good as new! woop! 135g how can that be wrong?

It can be wrong by being 145g, weigh it, if it is very very old you might be lucky, but most SLRs with 135g printed on them are 145g.

Those extra 10g will crush your spirit on the hills.

  • Too true. Best let 5psi out of each tyre to redress the balance.

wow youve just given me a swift 10g kick in the nuts. I need to start writing some letters of complaint. MFkers.

Selle Italia are going down for this outrage.

  • I might just remove the seat itself and sew them on to my jeans (952g) put rails back on the seatpost stem(externally shimmed of course) and hey presto a great way to get my face and arms xrayed down A&E.

  • my supposedly 135g slr, stripped now weighs 140g ????????

  • Metal rails, hippy?!? Shame on you!

Under MY arse?! Damn right! :)
