And, unlike most weight weenie stuff, they are bomb proof.
I had originally planned on some M5 hubs, as they are lighter. But the front Tune, manages to get pretty close to the front M5, but with much bigger bearings. Good for the local roads, which are of some of the worse quality in europe.
The rear hub has good dimensions for the triplet pattern I have planned too.
Recieved my weenie Ti skewers a couple of weeks ago.
As well as some alloy internal nipples and washers.Just need my foam cored, kevlar reinforced, 48mm deep, carbon clincher rims to arrive. Had them specifically drilled for rear triplet and internal nips.
Birthday money well spent I hope.
Very excited.

internal nipples PITA to build!!! running them normal way round (like FIR) or upside (like corima)??
-
• #240
I was unsure about using standard nipples upside down, as I might be out some, on my drilling angles. Making the nipple sit poorly against the inner face of the rim drilling. So I've gone for specific internal nipples, with washers to compensate some. Together with the small 2.5mm hole diameter, it should be a resiliant set-up crosses fingers.
They will be a bit more of a faff to build. But I have plenty of time.
I have a bag of veloplugs too, instead of rim tape, to make retruing less of a chore.

I've only received the parcel yesterday. Three bloody months from France!
I'm not sure what to say...EE, Was the parcel sent with normal french post? I am waiting for some cranks to arrive, they were posted 3/4 weeks ago and I trust the person sending them, though the french post office has been on strike in august..
and if yours took 3 months to arrive sans strike...wtf? am I too expect with a strike...I was worried they were going to get pinched in the 'hackney post' vortex (where all my birthday cards end up) though if they haven't even left france yet.
Meh, just want the parts...
on a lighter note...this arrived from Eddy last night, that I am building for a mate, I'm really pleased, (I got a tiny alan frame as well ) ...it's dinky she's dinky...will look nice...she's going to love it...schweet...;D

Hey east end images, that saddle is absolutely lush! Not my cup of tea, as I don't want to look like I"m going 5,000 miles an hour whilst at standstill but I think it's a keeper, or at least to a good home
