digging in the barn just found a rear shock that I bought back in 2004. STILL in its packaging from the bloke who I blamed had never posted it.
Must have arrived at home, been filed away, and no-one owned up to it. Poor bloke, or rather poor parcel farce who actually paid out on that one, despite, 7years later finding it ACTUALLY DID ARRIVE!

poor parcel farce who actually paid out
Those cunts get enough of our money with their ridiculous fees for collecting import taxes, you deserve to get some back now and again.

It was the only pay out ice had from them or rm. So I'm actually still about 300 quid down from things they actually lost/damaged/ate over the pat few years.

Just waiting on the last few parts of the road bike now
goddamit. I'm still a couple weeks away from my frame arriving, and even longer away from being able to afford the groupset.
-
• #1231
Ha, and I'm impatient enough just waiting for the last parts to turn up. To be honest I'm surprised by how easily I got the groupset together, especially the cranks which I got for £120 new.

a pair of Force cranks went for £60 on ebay yesterday.
-
• #1233
my computer froze as I went to bid and missed them though.

Gutted. I always seem to be at work when everything good on ebay ends, and I don't even get mobile signal there.
-
• #1235
also, kind of wish I had gone for a bb30 frame, seen some bb30 chainsets go for stupid low prices on ebay
-
• #1236
Yep, especially recently- odd.
Edwardes rang to tell me my cranks should arrive next week.

^ Nice.
Never got back to you about my LOOK in the LOOK thread... I think it's really nice and repsonsive, stiff and climbs well, shame the rider doesn't ;)

Summer build is now held up by 6 bits of plastic... All the ferrules I have don't seem to fit the brake cable outer I bought.

awesomely compact;
The Bontrager were compact, but felt very chunky in comparison, best thing about it? it's only a fiver!
-
• #1241
link?
-
• #1242
Yep, I could do with a set myself (for brakeless riding without any bag).
-

I paid £7, my mistake, I ordered 3 of them for the other work mate who liked the idea of a very small tool to carry on the shop floor, and it kept the postage down;
Innovations Flat Stack Mini Tool: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Leisure
£2.99 postage is silly though.
