  • Forgot to post but got my metropolis chrome in mint today yay!

  • Thank a lot Ronny!

Can you ditch the platform and just bolt them straight to your shoes?

  • Yes I can, but then I wouldn't need these pedals and the shoes.
I could have tried to buy a pair of Takhions. Who knows. Maybe Vladimir will sell a pair to me. Would fit nicely in my collection.

  • Yes I can, but then I wouldn't need these pedals and the shoes.

Let me rephrase the question properly; do the 3 bolts line up with normal 3-bolt shoes? That would be a nice fall back position for when the engagement grooves of the Adidas shoes wear out.

  • No, they don't.
But self tapping screws, superglue, adapterplate, etc... will work.
BTW, I don't think that I will ever wear out the plates or the shoes.

  • ^ Straight up porn..

Do you have the rest to go with it? ;)

  • Bit of a mixed groupset TBH

2010 SR levers and derailiers (dont have the nasty red 11 + cheaper).
TRP r960 brake calipers (lighter, stronger, and better modulating than SR (AFAIK)).
Rotor 3D cranset (Stiffer, and availible (kinda) in 165mm).

The mechs are just Campag mechs with extra carbon really. But the levers are pure porn.

  • And they go up to 11

  • Not had a chance to ride the Rotor crank set yet. I like the idea behind them, must be super stiff.

    Nice calipers as well.

  • just got 4 titanium bottle cage bolts.

finishing the new whip in style.

  • ?
    ;)

  • I once paid £17.50 for the above as well. Well worth it, really made my V-brakes stand out...

  • ebay all the way

£10 and only a week in the post.

  • Not had a chance to ride the Rotor crank set yet. I like the idea behind them, must be super stiff.

    Nice calipers as well.

They certianly look it in 165mm. The quality is pretty outstanding too, with tiny tolerances.

  • You seen this? Excellent documentary about the Great Divide.

The bloke who it centres on works for Moots and is riding his custom ti- One guy is riding one of these:

    Cannondale 29er with a lefty!

a lefty which as lefties do, **blew up **on the ride, and he had to wait a day in a town (south park, Colar?) for overnight UPS to rush it to him, probably cost $1000+ for the fix :s
Any touring into back street countries should be on steel surely, as just about anyone out there can weld steel?

Got the second to last piece for my Jackson in the post last week, an arabesque front mech, which I duley stripped, cleaned (with a scalpal!) then repainted/panto'd the logo's. Looks like new, rides like new, actually shifts better than the suntour cyclone that was on there in the mean time.
Now waiting for delivery of Howies goodness from the sales :p Finally getting a pair of epic eds for those autumn days. though wish they still did Tow Paths :/

  • hello, whats this then!

Its my Phixeh Skull from ebay!

its as shite as predicted. sigh

  • hahaha i can't believe you bought that piece of shit. how much was it?

  • Im watching it now. type let me watch this in google. type in search bar ride the divide and it comes up in mega video and other links.

Is this site really safe, they want a credit card for verification and say they won't charge yet we all know that sites like this will end up being like limewire?

  • Birthday ebay blowout.

Not recieved as such. But I haz tracking numbers :)

Yes I will look a twat in the wizard of oz shoes. But getting a wide last, half size, in a top range Bont at a good price meant taking what I found.

  • Shut up!

Those Bont are bloody tidy. Nice buy.

Whilst on the theme of white Oakley's I got these through yesterday

  • better pics of the skull please

  • Don't walk even for a minute in those shoes, they will hate it and fall apart. They are really damn comfy though.

  • Howies Epic ed's just arrived, bit gutted :/ £85+ down to £34+postage but build quality & material quality feels nothing like as good as tow paths (and similar pants), and they've been worn before! Seem to have the obligatory chain ring grease marks on them fresh out of the packet, a feature I'm sure that didn't feature on the product description. Will contact Howies, see what they say.
