• You aren't supposed to get tattoos though because it marks up your beautiful white white skin. https://www.lds.org/youth/article/tattoos-and-your-mission?lang=eng

• Not that it has stopped people from getting all of the mormon prophets tattooed on them.

• Too much religion, not enough tattoos.

Sam Ricketts x2

Dale Sarok at Vida Loca (Bolton) is getting seriously good. This one is going to be awesome when it's done

Some fantastic Japanese work by Hirotoshi

Adde x2

Jacob Redmond

Simon Erl

• Shit sorry, itsbruce, should have put a disclaimer that some of those ^ aren't very realistic....

• ^ Forum needs a like button. Ace work. Grooving on Ricketts right now.

• I hope you're mature enough to not take offence to that...

Or to being patronised...

• Shopped?

• Yep, original was a Spiderman

• I like them both equally.

• I can appreciate the artistry gone into the Spiderman chest, but I don't find it appealing.

• The flag is backwards, or is that supposed to be significant of something?

• Does it matter?

• It's a crap Photoshop of a (sorry to come across high-brow) questionable tattoo.

Let's move on.

• Luke Jinks

• Luke Jinks

I am concerned about the status of this midsection.

• Looks like he's got the ideal front for tattooing, loads of surface to play with (those nips seem way far apart).

• Hey Joss,

Thanks for the PM, sorry for the delay in replying, busy week (break in at our block, velodrome on Wednesday, organising a tournament next weekend). Yes I'd be on for a drink sometime to discuss further - but I dont go to the pub much in the evenings any more as I have a one year old at home. I do go to a brewery in Bermondsey on a Saturday morning with him once every three weeks or so, you live south east right? I am not concerned if people on this thread dont want to listen to a debate about religion and tattoos. As I've said before they've other options, put me on ignore if you want, I wont be offended.

Just an advance warning though - I think all religion is ridiculous and I'll definitely snort with derision if you say something like "if God tells me that I should stop then I will" (he doesnt really exist so he cant tell you anything, it's only a simulacra / manifestation of what you think is a supernatural being, its just your own conscience). I hope you're mature enough to not take offence to that... remind me to tell you about the trouble I ran into in a previous job when I said "Islam, Christianity, and other religions are fairy stories for gullible adults" in the canteen at lunch.

What does the Bible say about tattoos? Do you give any weight to what's in there?

I am going to check this out soon, it's free, runs until October.

Hey man,

No worries life is hectic.
Yeah man, brewery could be cool. Maybe try work something out at somepoint.

Mate your totally entitled to believe what you want init. As am I. That's one of the few good things about living in England.
Conversation may be a bit flat though as you may end up snorting a fair bit haha. But whatever man. Whatever your up for.

As for the bible, the verse in Leviticus is one of the only verses that discusses tattoos. When looked at it on its own it may look like it says dont get tattooed but when you read around the context you realise that it really isnt.
It talks about how people at the time were marking their bodies in order to worship and attempt to speak to the dead and God was saying don't do that pretty much partly because worshipping them was wrong as well as simply people were poisoning themselves by using weird stuff to create inks and stuff to 'tattoo' themselves.

• Oh for fucks sake, seriously Josh and Kev..

• New page as well.

• I am not concerned if people on this thread dont want to listen to a debate about religion and tattoos. As I've said before they've other options, put me on ignore if you want

..or, you know, if you two want to have an in-depth dialogue you could use options, like, private messaging, or email?
Just sayin'..

• i like the format of open letters, so play on

• Sorry sorry yes.
PM me Kev.

It's JosS nesbit ;)
