  • anyone got any recommendations for good tattoo artists/studios in Milan. Lady I was working with over there, said her son was looking to get a rose and dagger tattoo, she's personally not into it, but wanted some suggestions for decent tattooists over there so if he does get one, he gets something better than just pointing at a book and saying I want that one.

    Any suggestions appreciated...

  • Not really the style but very good.

  • Some great stuff uphttp://31.media.tumblr.com/40759389f62df162740b07b0282a68a6/tumblr_n0l0hkirUq1qi927go1_1280.jpg there:

  • Ive got a holiday booked to amsterdam next month. Does anybody know of any good shops/artists over there? Flash or geometry based stuff.

    also just black

One of my favourite artists from that country is Wilco: http://www.gekkotattoos.nl/gallery/gallery-wilco/

Mind you, he's based in Terneuzen rather than Amsterdam.

  • Good to have you back posting boring tattoos Bruce - hope you're feeling okay.

Not exactly Milan but definitely worth a trip to Verona to see Beppe Strambini at Ink Addiction, the shop also hosts some awesome guests including a lot of the Blackheart SF crew .

  • Classic Piet du Congo...
His latest work. Except that font of writing, love this!

  • ...if that whole thing was, like, 1/4 as big, it would be really good.

  • thanks for the milan tattoo parlour recommendations, it's much appreciated.
I've sent those across any others that spring to mind post them up and I'll ping those across as well..

  • ^ yeah peeped that on mxm's IG earlier. Amazing.

  • Why people get tattoos of their employer's logo: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-magazine-monitor-27441754

IMHO, still not as strange as those who get brand tattoos (so essentially pay to become a walking billboard), despite never even working for their chosen company.

  • meh

  • 'meh' to my comments (which sounded better in my head) or 'meh' to the article/story?

    Or both? :/

Perhaps I should get my barcode tattoo removed before I get all snooty though.

  • "meh" to getting your employer's logo tattooed

  • My latest addition, done today by Claudia DeSabe

  • Niice!

  • good work.
    love the colours..

  • echoing.. that is really nice!

  • What kind of style tattoos do people think will age really well? I see a lot of stuff that I love but I worry it'll look "so 2014" in ten years' time. I don't see many from the 90s that look great, for example. If I got a tattoo when I was 18 it probably would've been a tribal.

I can't tell if all this trad/flash stuff (and I like a lot of it) is going to look like "oh you were a hipster in the 2010s". Or will it just look like nice tattoos.

^^^^That is surely going to look sick forever
