  • My boy Adrian? ;-)

  • by Tony Nilsson at Blue Arms Tattoo

Really want my knees tattoo'd as well as my shins. So many ideas, so little money.

  • My boy Adrian? ;-)

Haha your boy. #begfriend Haha yeah it is

  • Chest finished. Maybe a LITTLE more around the top. Maybe a LOT.

    Excuse m'big face.

  • Meehow Kotarski

  • ^lovely

  • I didn't spot your post going in just before it, BR. Was that all one sitting? All looks very fresh.

  • Cheers dude. Was done over three sittings - the heart and lantern had just been coloured in that pic, we did the moth wings/flowers in a previous sitting.

Worst thing about a chest piece? Your nose being close to the tattoo as it heals. I smell like a tapas bar.

  • Fresh tattoos do smell a bit meaty don't they. Nice work there BR. Tiny miss Becca right? What you thinking about for the top?

  • Lol yeah it's disgusting.

Was Becca on this one - she absolutely killed it. Getting tattooed at Jayne Doe is an actual pleasure, it's such a nice relaxed shop with such cool people. I'm going to get her to do some of her filligree work on the top, very delicate black lines, in three semi circles.

Would really like to go up onto the neck but I don't think I can get away with it at my current job.

  • I have two tattoos so far, both done by Nick at Skunx in Chapel Market. First one was a bit of Bjork fan art I came across. Took 3 hours and mainly consists of dots. Second one on my arm is Aegishjelmur on the inside of my right arm (otherwise known as the helm of awe) it's an old viking symbol that they used to wear on their helmets or drawn on their heads. It is meant to instill fear into your enemies and conquer fears in your own mind. It is often confused with a snowflake. I have viking heritage so wanted something to symbolise that. You have to be careful with viking symbols and runes though as some have been highjacked by the neo nazis. This one tickled a lot which meant I got told off a lot by Nick for laughing and moving. I would like a third, nautical themed one, going down the side of my body curving around my ribs. I'm thinking seahorses, fossils (because I'm a geology geek) etc etc.

  • Just got a ticket for the Friday of the London Tattoo Convention in September

  • Ooh where from?

  • I think Dakin had the impression you got a freebie or won a comp or something on that line, H.

  • Indeed I did

  • Gonzalo Muñiz Matito

nah, I don't ever win competitions, and apparently my blog isn't cool enough to blag shit.

  • nah, I don't ever win competitions, and apparently my blog isn't as painfully shit as the fifth floor, so people don't give me things out of pity.

Henry, don't forget what happened last time you angered them...

  • I got a birthday tattoo the other day from my friend Gabriella.
I'm pretty happy with it. Just not on the same scale of epicness as some recently posted.
Back of thigh, tough to take a picture of.

A few pages old, but I really like this!

    Cheers.
She's been drawing some amazing stuff recently too...
Will post when she's tattooed the people she's planning to.

  • I've got (in my head) my next 5 tattoos planned, all I need is a boatload of cash, everyone to waive their waiting lists, some free time off work and everything will be grand.
realistically, I might be able to get 1 this summer. Might have to go see Ricky at TFB and see how much he is these days (gone are £40 spontaneous ones from him)
