A friend from home. He's done a couple of other line drawing tattoos and 3 of my tats.
I so want to go back to Lyam. It's finding the cash

I also really want a line drawn russian style tower down the inside of my arm.
I think (might be wrong) that that is a jail thing - number of towers = number of years spent inside.

Yup. Cupolas = years/terms
But I'm not Russian nor a con, so for me I just like the look. I'm getting a tarot card and a pear with legs. Im ok with not looking too deeply into meanings, when I like the style/iconography.
Mates rates tattoos are dangerous!

I have a slightly open ended question but theres seems enough knowledgeable people on here so here goes.
I'm itching to get my sleeve finished but of the artists who I would like to get work done by in London/UK, most charge what I consider extortionate rates. I had my 1st half sleeve done at FST and Good Times and I know you get what you pay for, but I'd like to know if people have any favourite artists or artists work that you really like who are based abroad in countries where the FX rate is quite favourable!...
What have you got so far? What do you consider extortionate? Who would you like work from/what style?

Half sleeve http://www.tatontattoo.com/tatoo/DSC_1225.jpg. Not got a pic of the other side, but all in all it was more than 15 hours with Piotrek at London rates. Obv it was worth it if for nothing else to see it all come together, but I can;t afford that sort of outlay anymore!
As to who I'd like work from, that where I'm looking for inspiration. I've seen some great work from overseas artists but the only ones that I'd think would be cheaper are those I've seen in Mexico. Basically the idea is to save a bit on the work and hopefully use this to put toward getting there and maybe getting around a bit.
Oh and I'd like to keep to the realism/black & grey theme but I'm really open to ideas!

There's guys at Divine Canvas who also do top notch dotwork.
The guys @ Divine Canvas are awesome, all very, very talented artists in their own right, & reasonably priced for the work your getting, I`ve been working with Matt Black for a number of years, I have a full sleeve and chest piece done by Matt, will see if I can dig out some photos, also waiting to start my back piece with Zed le Hed in the new year

BUMP, for Jayson.
jsut in case.Cheers Parry,
Normally I would do exactly that, but if.I'm on my clunker of a laptop, it can take longer doing a thread search, over flicking back through the threads myself, oh well, the lesson here is go buy a new laptop or declutter & reformat the one I have I guess
-
• #6122
Jayson, just go to your subscribed threads.
Top left corner just under the LFGSS logo, click on 'posts', then click on 'subscribed threads'.
Anything that you've posted in you're automatically subscribed to. -

No, the lesson here is that your 'BUMP' post was pointless,
as you already made a post immediately before that one,
which would have already fulfilled the purpose of bumping the thread up.What the fuck you think this place would look like if everybody would go 'BUMP'
the threads they want to 'read later that evening' ?! -
• #6124
Fucking hell chill out post police its the internet.
-
• #6125
hahaha can everyone calm the fuck down. Jayson, welcome to the thread, people are normally a lot friendlier here.
On another note, has anyone been to Vagabond on Hackney Road? My old flatmate had a tiny little piece by someone there, but it's so small I cant really judge the quality.
Who did you get to do it? I wouldn't mind a similar church on my ankle. Im booked in with Liam to finish my ribs in january.
