  • Amazing colours ^

  • Got this on Friday. Arm is pretty swollen still, think it might be the red ink, not really had much red before.

  • Nice, who by?

  • Thats grand. A very good choice :).

  • Artist was David Pozo in the Glasgow Forevermore, think he worked in the London one (might even be a part owner?).
Been tattooed by him a few times before, thought he had moved to Italy but went in to see who else was available in the studio and book for this and he was there.

Anyone experienced problems with red ink? I've heard reds and yellows are the most likely to create an allergic reaction and I'm still getting quite a lot of weeping (coloured) and like I say my arm is pretty swollen. Had plenty other tats by David and other artists at the studio and not had any problems, I have my other arm tattooed in a similar place but a smaller piece and think that swelled up for a day or two and also have elbow on other arm tattooed and I'm sure it swole up quite a bit too just this seems a bit worse.

Maybe I just need to HTFU.

  • Very nice.

It might be worth calling the shop, just for peace of mind from people with lots of experience. Have you tried ibuprofen tablets?

  • Took a couple ibuprofen yesterday but it didn't make much difference. I'm working all day tomorrow so I'll probably give it till Wednesday when I'll be in town anyway and if it's not any better I can go into the shop, my girlfriend works in a piercing shop and she says they never answer a phonecall with a concern about the condition of a piercing with anything other than "Come in so we can have a look" anyway.

It's been a wee while since I was last tattooed so maybe I'm just remembering the healing process to be easier than it actually is.

  • Hobo has inspired me to book in an appointment with Lyam, to get my other thigh done. Will hopefully get it in before Xmas.

  • I know this is just an outline, but I still love it:

Meh, she's not really into maps:

A Waterman Butterfly would fit the upper back and shoulders really nicely.

  • I HTFUed and my tattoo seems to be healing more normally now. Still got a few chunky bits and it feels tight as hell but I reckon a few days n it'll be all good.

  • Hey

I'm going to Japan late march/early april and I was thinking about smuggling back som ink.
I want traditional Japanese with a slight twist. Where to go?

  • Popped into tattooagogo yesterday for some random ink. Got a natty little umbrella on the inside of my elbow (if your familiar with my ink, its between the hinge and the rose and below the wolf)
No pics as its scabby atm.

The artwork and colours are excellent...but a puking zombie inked onto your body for the rest of your life...!

  • ^ seems to be puking up saltwater taffy too (still in the wrappers, which has undoubtedly contributed to the emetic effect)

  • yea..
would maybe not want to have that image on my body either,
but definately rad; and i think that will still look good aged.

  • again amazing grey work by silvia z
