  • But scorch, I am man, and it hurts me. But no fainting. That's for girls.

These are not mine, but i like.

  • Zach writes: "It is a half sleeve up my upper right arm based around an image taken by one of the CERN bubble chambers. It is based on this image. I first saw that image my freshman year of college. It had the sublime, simple beauty that only something made of math and science can have. It stuck with me for 8 more years before I actually decided to get it etched into me. Oddly enough, on Valentine's Day. I guess it was my Valentine's to physics and science. Oh, and when people ask who drew it, I always respond 'God.'"

  • Nice!! (and geeky)

  • Nice!! (and geeky)

Yeah. It makes me wish I was a physicist!

  • Image from CERN detection chamber:

My right arm (a cover up at the lower end)

That guy above isnt exactly proselytizing for the right team if he's responding with the answer "God". Nobody invented CERN except humans. Science and physics is the antithesis to bullshit religion.

  • I don't think saying "God" necessarily requires bullshit religion. Humans invented CERN but not what they discover.

    Anyhoo, nice tattoos.

  • A Brazilian punk I used to date

  • Does she know you've plastered her pics here?

  • Err, never thought of that. Can't see she'd care much.

  • "God".

I think he means Einsteins god. Ie. something beyond human comprehension at this point.

    Sweet tat though :)

  • Don't know if this counts as tattooing but i got some pretty gnarly shots of a very hard Korean chap getting some facial scarification at Divine Canvas. Took over 3 hours of video footage of the procedure, for use in an unknown future project. If anyone knows someone looking for a music video with some pretty brutal footage send me a PM.

Here's a before shot so as not to offend any viewers that don't like blood.

  • sorry to show my narrow mindedness again, but when I see facial scarification I just think "why?"

  • each to their own i say. not for me but was very interesting to document.

  • yes each to their own. i do appreciate scarification from an artistic point of view. My french teacher had a pretty big tiger on his back that looked absolutely incredible.

  • I never saw a scarification that looked good.

    That is gorgeous.
I'm debating whether to have branding/scarification or cutting on my chest where I've had a 3D silcone implant put in, in 2008, but my skin didn't really heal too well with it, so it doesnt show up. I scarred badly where Samppa made the cut, so I want to have a design made over it.

  • at first he should adapt his neck-tattoo

It's a bit raw, photos when it's healed wiuld look better. Still pretty decent effort.

  • surely that facial scarification is going to be a bit awkward with shaving for ages, if not permanently depending on the eventual profile of the scarring?

  • He doesn't look like he can grow a beard where the scarification is.
