I'm not surprised... Black Cat? I did my last on a big hangover, it was only 2 hours but felt like forever. Just felt sick for the duration. So relieved to hear the words "we're done"
can only imagine how much better they sound after 7/8 hours.
Shame though, all that suffering, for something that she's not happy with. (i'm assuming you share the same sentiment.)

She doesn't give a shit about it, can't see it. Wouldn't say she's 'not happy' about it, more like 'Whatevs, over it'

fair one.... good place to get a tattoo (where i got my first) knew that if i ended up not liking it I would never have to look at it! fortunately though i still like it.

What's the deal with 13 tattoos? Genuine question.
-
• #1731
13 is viewed as an unlucky number in most cultures, whereas in the tattoo world it is seen as a lucky number. a positive thing. (think this is right.)
-
• #1732
Does they traditionally cost $13?
-
• #1733
not sure on that one.
found this
http://tattoo.about.com/od/tattoosgeneralinfo/a/lucky13.htm
also:
The Aztecs considered thirteen a fundamentally important number and part of the long cycle of time as reckoned by their calendar. But in most other cultures, it has been considered unlucky and there are numerous examples given to demonstrate the concurrence of the number 13 with unfortunate circumstance. Because it is the number after the complete twelve, it is an extra which does not harmonize with the universe.

I get my chest tattoo (just a script writing) on Fri by Harriet. Its been almost 5 years since I got my last. I'm feeling like a big baby all of a sudden. o.O
Which is making me feel silly considering I'm getting a 8mm labret the next day.
Guess this is the case of HTFU. -

Been meaning to extend my all black Japanese inspired upper arm design into a sleeve (got it done in Nottingham by Terry Stafford, cost me around £150 and I love it)
Anyone know of any places that do good Japanese work on black skin? In Nottingham artists were a bit picky. Looking at the tattoo threads on here, in2you and Family Business are general favourites, but how are they with black skin? Also looks like waiting times are crazy, no?
here is a pic, only one I have on my work computer (that's me in the middle ie the black one)
/attachments/24885I'd say Jolie rouge. Had a bit of work done by them myself and they are really gd and could def handle someone with your skin colour. They did my sister in law and she has a slightly paler complexion but did an amazing job, subtle hints of dark blue and purple which works quite well with darker skin. Javi lee who works there does some gd Japanese style work.

I want to get something to do with the sea. As I have grown up in and on it.
also got my first tat a few weeks ago. It looks like its drawn on with pen. But I kind of like it more because of that, as I have been drawing it on things for years and my writing and drawing is always so so bad because im so fucking dyslexic (thank fuck for keyboards and spellcheck) Its a circle then a square then a triangle next to my left nipple. Rather small. -

what's a labret? the link is blocked on my work web.
Also, what scrip you getting? I've wanted a script there for about 3-4 years, was thinking about getting a lance armstrong quote.
Which is stronger, (small script)
Hope or Fear? (larger script)may get this done in next couple of weeks, found a guy that does amazing script here in leeds.

Lance armstrong's a cunt though.
I always worry about script tattoos.
they're just so permanent, and imo your feelings are more likely to change about them.like my friend with - 'live forever or die trying'
on his chest. -

Definitely have to agree with you there...its so much easier to go off of a phrase tattoo'd on you than a design that will look good regardless of sentiment. I guess we should all get carpe diem on us because that one never gets boring right?

that's not what I'm saying.
I should really include In My Opinion in my posts.
I have no right to push anyone to do anything, or not do anything to their bodies. -

Well, to me, if someone admits they're a cunt it's alright. He did. I find it's people that are cunts without realising it that are the problem!
Well, originally wanted "All we have is hope" for personal reasons, but reading the armstrong book that quote really jumped out at me.
Your opinion is totally valid soperRiva! don't worry about it, you're right it's a big commitment getting a script, like I say though have been thinking about it for a few years now.

Why aren't you just stretching it? I got mine to 6mm in a year with electrical tape.
EDIT - and it's now stretched back down to nothing. That won't happen if you scalpel it.

Crappy Iphone photo though I'm afraid.

1) its not even pierced
2) Im already stretching my tongue and earss
3) its cheaper in the long run
4) its a gift from two of my mates
5) I have thought about this for a long long time, not something I just wanted last month! I know it won't shrink down if I scapel it but there's an option to stitch it up by the same person who's doing scapelling. :)what's a labret? the link is blocked on my work web.

on his chest.Labret is like a lip piercing, but not right under the lip, just lower down.
I am getting "breathe easy" as it relates to three things in my life.
Already have princess on my toes and indefinite on my arm, from 5/6years ago. -

forgive my ignorance on the subject, but is there not an issue with moisture escaping, or like your mouth getting really dry? isn't it bad for your teeth?
She was in tears and drinking whiskey in the last hour
