I've wanted a heavy blackwork (we're talking solid here) and although my right arm will have designs in it, the negative spaces will have solid black.
I know some of those people..
(He has scarifcation)
He used to be on LFSS, but left due to the attitude from some of the members. I'm totally in love with his tattoos. -

All really nice.

Mmm definitely.
Ill be getting some dotwork on my sleeve too. Can't wait. -

Personally, I'd never get the total blackwork and I don't like it artistically. It doesn't appeal to me as I'm all about colour, but I do dig the in-your-face aspect of it. Ain't my style of tattoo but it does have that je ne sais fuck you about it. Pardon my French.

@lileth-whos the guy in the first pic?
when i used to frequent bme there was a brazilian guy that looked very similar to him, face tatts, lip plate, stretched nostrils...
i'm assuming the third pic is scarfication (due to your comment as well) ?
if so, its absolutely amazing. -

I'm not a huge fan of colour. I have few tattoos, and only the diamonds on my feet are pink, and Im not a massive fan of it, will be adding darker stuff around it.
I havent been tattooed for a few years now. Hence why I came to a consulsion(sp) that I'd like blackwork, with red/grey, having looked around for years about it. I love how it looks I guess.

And yes that's Eric with scarification above his blackwork tattoo, it's stunning, you can see more here and it's done by an Aussie Scarification artist Wayne Dunn- who lives in Edmonton, Canada now.

I know! It's breathtaking. The guy himself is pretty awesome too. I do know his girlfriend, so I hope maybe sometime in the future, I may get something done by him if I pass Canada, as I have a few friends around that side.

Diff'rent strokes and diff'rent tattoos. I love old school tattoos that look like tattoos but that's just me and I'm just an old sailor.

nah, you have a lot of really good input.
i need some advice on ear stretching:
i love them, and if i could i would have rather large lobes, but i cant.
of course, everyones ears heal differently but is there a specific size that when you pass it, it just wont heal back? -

I'm at 16mm. Did go to 18mm and it went down to 3.2mm. (I went a year without stretched lobes) There's a few forumengers with bigger sized lobes.
I sugguest you basically follow this entry. It's fantastic. I'd personally say don't go any bigger than 8mm to 10mm, if you want to "heal back."
Take your time to stretch, there isn't no rush. Don't jump sizes either otherwise you'll get blowouts or rips. Which arent nice. Just listen to your ears.
I used the Tape method on that link, if my ears wouldn't go up the next size. I never jumped though. -

A friend of mine had 50mm in each ear. They wobbled when he talked.
-
• #1495
Haha, that's waaaaaaay too big for me, but I admire the people who have the patience to stretch up past 2". Jewellery at those sizes are expensive!

• #1496
I want to stretch both lobes to the point where I can put a chainring bolt in each. Dura Ace baby!

personal preference i like them most (obserational) when theyre cigarette butt sized

of course, everyones ears heal differently but is there a specific size that when you pass it, it just wont heal back? It's more about age tbh. My ears were stretched out to about two and a half inches at their biggest, that was for a good two years. I let 'em down before I hit 30 and I've got them down to 10mm now - probably about as good as it's going to get.
On the other hand I know people who've had their ears stretched out to an inch or two but they left it late to stretch 'em down again and now they're stuck with their inch or two.
I would back up Lileth's advice on not jumping more than two mm at a time, particularly not when you're starting out. Gotta say I'm pretty oldschool on this stuff and the way we used to do it back in the days was slow application of electrical tape and no-one suffered blowouts. These days kids seem to want to jump straight to 10mm from nothing and they suffer the consequences. Hope this helps anyway.

my ideal size would be 25-30mm
Me too, but this is coming from a guy who's wanted a near completely filled arm since he was about 10.
