  • Heh heh.... didn't make it to make money, I have been gatheriong those parts for ages, its gone to a good home though, a nice chap who will hopefully start joining us for drinks soon.

    Will catcha tmrw Pajaramaramaaamamamms

  • £110??? I sold a bottom-of-the-range Peugeot conversion for £200!!!

  • I know... i know... just wasn't in it to make dosh, some parts were donated so would have been unfair to make a profit. its all good and i'm happy i've made someone else happy :)

  • What a gent. He is in real life, too.

BoBoB, though............ let's go on a hunt for some more of those lemon beauties eh? me and you?

  • G'day

BoBoB is indeed a gent. Great bike, really enjoyed riding fixed for the first time.

Is there a technique to bunny hopping a fixed bikes? On a free wheeler, I need to have the pedals level to pop up onto kerbs, off sleeping policeman etc

  • wait, you sold this for one hundred and ten pounds sterling??

  • sound like Yebo is going to trash every penny of it before BaByBobob can say "WTF"..

  • wait, you sold this for one hundred and ten pounds sterling??

    Da!

Yebo, glad you're happy chap, just find a nice green park and learn tricks, at least that way it won't hurt too much when you fall off! :)

Bunny hops are easy when you are strapped in, I don't feel safe dong it in cleats but probably safe enough.

Just get used to judging gaps, kerbs, braking, hills etc first, the rest will come with confidence

  • Philanthropy on LFGSS... Whatever next? Saint BoBoB maybe...

That bike was a total bargain, Yebo. Maybe you don't realise yet just what a steal it is, but when you do, you'll enjoy riding it even more.

I like nice happy threads like this one.

  • One hundred and ten pounds sterling. I am cutting my forearm with a steak knife and eating a whole 1kg bar of Cadbury's Diary Milk to punish myself for missing this goddam bargain.

  • seems like a great deal judging by the comments so far. rest assured that i will enjoy/use the bike.

  • what a great thread. Great anecdote, Yebo - let's see you put the Puch to good use and get down to Souths!

  • I built this for the girlfriend but i- its too big and ii- she doesn't want to get involved whilst bearing babybobob.

Your good for nothing elder brother finds out he's going to be an uncle on the London Fixed-gear and Single-speed forum? Sheeesh!

Check out the the Manchester Paranormal Society forum, I've just come out as a closet transexual on that one...

    Congratulations mate :)

    PS build me a bike...

  • is that really your older brother...or is it an attempt to get some attention?

  • Aidan can't you just be happy with the idea it might be both of those?

  • Yep.. thats me bro.... he wants me to build him a hack bike so I sent him a link to this thread so he could see this bike... completely forgot that I had written babybobob on it... I hadn't told him about the baby...... oops, he's happy though :)
