and yep, I'm missing spokes :-) waiting for a delivery...
Grips are from freshtripe (expensive but pretty easy to fit) and I've got a set of atac peddles to go on, which I hope should give me enough clearance.
I think this bike shall be known as Hermann. The German.

The frame is cinelli,
Really? How do you know? I see no markings?

Unfortunately mr and mrs cinelli make bb shells for all and sundry. I've had 3 bikes, none of which are cinelli (including one of my current ones) that have a cinelli bb shell. Tough to base heritage on that alone. But you never know. Nice bike by the way. Will you get a red bj and use the same components? I see a phil re-spacing kit in your future.

yeah my pursuit frame has a cinelli BB shell. It's a joe waugh. It's a sign of quality, probably, but not proof that the bike is made by cinelli.

It's definitely no Cinelli frame - as the decals suggest, it is a Bioracer. It was tailor-made based on someone's measurements in the Bioracer fit system, and then made in Belgium with German Mannesmann tubing. I think these frames were discontinued a few years back, as Bioracer now only offers their clothing line and their measurement system.
I have one of these frames (though it is their triathlon version with 650 wheels), which was made to fit for me about 12 years back. I am currently looking at converting it into a fixed wheel - curious how that will work with the semi-vertical dropouts.
Anyways, cool bike. (And sorry for the gravedigging)
you should file the dropout to get more chain-tensioning play. it will help deal with chain stretch.
