probably were faulty as i don't do mountain biking, but they double up as my dancing shoes on occasions.

Love Sidis, gay advert on Eurosport though.
I have the same problem as murtle, BMMF. One of the rubber studs on the heal has broken off, murt has lost his, I have to keep glueing mine back on. Happened to me about a fortnight after buying them.

Was just about to ask about Sidis - but looks like I don't need to! What about if you've got abnormally wide feet though? Is there any brand that's particularly good, or should I just go up a size or two?

Sidi also do a wide version of their entire range - it's called Mega I think. The other recommendation I've heard for wide feet is Specialized.

As long as you're not looking for black Sidi Dominators in a size 46. They're really hard to find, especially new and in the box.

Yea, Specialized shoes are made by americans for americans...

Who sells sidi's in central or west London? I am thinking I ought to go and try on a pair, and then buy off the internet unless a shop will do a price match.

condor - they have the 'mega' width of the sidis as well as the normal ones as well as specialized shoes

Sidi Genius are really cheap from velosave. Go find them on eBay, you can get 6.6's for about £160 I think, they're a very, very good road shoe.
I'm using Northwave's now and they're definitely not for people with narrow feet but anything from Adidas is good if your feet are narrow. Quality shoes too.

velouk appeared to be cheapest for dominators as they were doing them for £120 and then had the londonfgss discount

I just wore my Pearl Izumi Vagabond R4s for the first time. Awesome shoes.
Was that mountain biking? If it happened just standing at the bar, they were a faulty batch ;)
