I've got a Freitag Rex bag and I love it. Great in the rain, completely waterproof, it does have a padded back and with the extra strap doesn't slip anywhere.

i have it's small brother f17 for years now and it's still like brand new even i use it every day. i also use it for regular supermarket shoppings and it's no problem carrying like 6 kilos with it.
i've been looking at the f18, too... but 250! no way...rapsac: what about those pac? still available?

The missus just got me a Rex for Xmas. (Threw some money at the difficult-to-buy-for problem). I never would have paid that much for a bag, but thats what xmas is about innit? No more shopping bags on my handle bars. No sir.
