  • love those straps on the pedals - what are they?

The straps are some faux-leather straps - they're not the best as the straps keep coming out of the cages (need to wear them out or get some buttons or get some toshis).

I got them from bens cycles for about £12-14 I think

  • OMG ! No brakes ! Eeek ! get some brakes brother

haha - i've been riding breakless since the get go and am quite comfortable with it ;)

  • edit: Your aware of it.... cant you just move your wheel back and tighten your nuts?

Its quite hard without tugs getting a nice tension on the chain - il reckon il get some tugs in a week or so.

    cheers for the comments guys.

  • upgrade the hubs! go DA!

  • they don't make em all black - wanted specific all black hubs!

  • goldtecs then, that frame deserves better hubs :)

  • haha - (i hate the font used for goldtecs!) - im happy with the nova's for the mo - il probably upgrade to suzue pro max soon

  • grancompe?
    powder coated DA?

  • ohh btw i can trade you a 110 axle if you want?, less overhang

Just jam your hand between the seat tube and wheel. Perfect tension every time!

Accident waiting to happen - and it might not only be you that gets hurt.
    Fit a brake.

  • cant be drillin a nice frame . . .

  • ^Doesn't have to...

    Fit a brake.

    Come on.

  • Nice bike. Out of interest, why are you using such a short stem? I would have though, judging by te amount of seatpost on display, that you might be better off running about 90 or 100 mm

  • B4R Sp1nz!

  • Accident waiting to happen - and it might not only be you that gets hurt.
    Fit a brake.

    Funny.....

  • dope

    dude, seriously not your problem!!

  • To be honest, running no brakes has never been an issue - its not a style/looks thing but I've learnt to ride brakeless and really enjoy it. I've never put anyone in danger nor do I ride like a dick.

I don't ever ride super super fast that I need to have a brake and even in that sense, judging from the accidents that I've been aware off, flying over the handles coz of the front brake, scares the hell out of me!

I got the smaller stem as I like the response of a shorter stem than a longer one - I do have long arms but find it quite comfortable.

No B4R Spins dude, frame says 'NO' when i try!

The hubs are 110 - It took some time but I found some non - DA etc 110 hubs. The hubs I have are perfect for me right now - I had think convo with Dale when I saw him; Il probably get another wheelset built up in the future with suzue pro max.

Powder coating a pair of DA's doesn't seem right to me.....

  • black phil wood will do the job . . .
