Make your own frame?

has anyone on here built there own frame? i dont mean going to mecian and getting one built for you i mean buying the lugs steel etc. making a jig and building your own.
i'm asking because i'm considering doing it and want to hear a few stories.

I've been thinking about doing the Dave Yates course for a while. I read the Paterek manual, and it's a non-trivial task that would be much easier (I think) with a teacher.

i would love o do it... would be nice to spend some time customizing my own lugs

i like bikes, back to bikes... yeah id love to make one too... i want the seat post integral to my frame so i wouldn't need a shim.
