it was beautiful, you shoulda been there, we got married on top of a mountain, and there was flutes playing and trombones and flowers and garlands of fresh herbs. And we danced till the sun rose. And our children will form a family band. And we will tour the countryside but no one on this forum will be invited...

No one wants to donate a substantial amount of real cash to a bunch of crusties with rich parents who want to live out some kind of "hardcore" lifestyle pootling about the streets on a bicycle and failing to get a *real *job.
If you want to get a job as a columnist on a tabloid paper you're probably better off sending them some examples of your work; you're clearly well qualified but the chances of you being headhunted off a bike forum are fairly slim.

You make a good point; I well remember my father's dying words: "Mother, throw some more pearls on the fire". It's a touching memory, one that often comes back to me when i am pootling.

Look, be fair, I did try and get a *real *job. I applied to every chip shop in Birmingham; nothing. How bad do you think I feel, trying and failing to get work in a chip shop?

.
I feel rotten now; if only I took more advice from none-too-bright twentysomethings. They have the ability to see things the way they really are. How much better my life would be if I'd just listen to the voice of inexperience.

I think* real* cash is the best kind. And if it comes in substantial amounts so much the better. What's the point in giving away fake cash? That's just cruel.

May I suggest, FANNYHOPE - UK
A lesser appreciated charity who work mainly with idiots vulnerable to violence & prostitution. They do work in many places, but they do a lot in the Midlands where these problems are completely ignored.
New LCEF caps are now available. They're not real caps, obviously, but my parents paid for mine so what do I care?
