Now, I've got to ask, where did 'fuck year' rubber hand get to? T
I think that was the organiser's prize in the end (destined for life on top of his Fender Twin), although I can't imagine that any of us degrudge him it.

I do!
That was the only reason I turned up.

Fantastic day. Couldn't think of a better way to spend a lovely Septembers day.
Great that so many people turned up to race and spectate, and the generous sponsors for donating so many prizes. And of course Joe for organizing it all , and the HH guys for helping it all to run so smoothly.

I can't believe I was only a few miles down the road from you lot on Sunday. I wish I could have been there for the fun in the sun and to meet some of you folks. I did suggest a trip to see some top action at HH but...
Instead I was eating food until it came out my ears. My wife's brothers wedding.

Just want to add my voice to those thanking everyone involved. I absolutely loved it yesterday and can't think of a better way to spend a FIVER. It was good to meet some of you guys, and I'll look forward to every future LFGSS track day, and to joining you for other rides from now on. Oh and I wanna build myself another bike to match some of the beauties on display yesterday (drools and awaits paycheck)...

I had a great day, with my bum leg and me farmers market shopping in me trolley. Just wanted to ride so badly, no matter how slow I would have been. Damn you Joe for having the track day on one of the nicest days of the year. (actually good on you, brrappp, brrappp!! and all that.)
Nice seeing the people out, and especially liked the gentle takeover of the prince regent, though with the time it took me to walk down there, I might have missed the more hectic stuff.
Sorry if I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to the good people's couldn't miss my bus..
See you all in a couple of weeks when I'm hopefully back on the bike.
Bright times people, Bright Times!ps.
big thanks for spaghetti and girlfriend (whose name I forget, apologies) for walking me back to the prince regent, it was much appreciated... -

What a brilliant day, I was so chuffed to see all of you buggers out and about, in the sunshine, riding hard and having a lovely time. Props to Joe and Rob for organization and to EVERYBODY who got on their bike and rode in circles as fast as they could.
Highlights for me included:
John mack rolling some 'extra' laps in the Devils.
Fiddy giving out prizes whilst sucking down beers - great stitches Paul.
MikeC going soooo fast in the sprint - he looked like team GB in Beijing with that move.
Me taking home the much coveted 3rd place in Cat B Sprint, netting a pair of white calf skin gloves. MMm.
Stelle totally representing Rollapaluzza and kicking my ass in a number of races.
Winspar et family having the Rollapaluza picnic, complete with loud hailer and a big box of beer.
Realizing that I have lost the bolt to resecure my brake at the end of the day and having to initiate myself into brakeless riding to get home. (and secretly loving it).Roll on the next time, I like this kind of thing!

if you lost a helmet i have it, pm me with type and colour.
-
• #597
just got this...pm me if you have them:
Agh! Slightly panicked to find that I have left my Giro Pneumos helmet and Oakley MFrame wraparounds at the track as I tried to take part in the LFGSS track day - probably sitting on the grass in track centre. (If this is not being picked up by Winston then I was the bloke who showed up late with a track bike and left early because I didn't have the right shoes for the pedals).
Obviously very keen to get these back
All the very best,
Malcolm

Good work Teenslain, a great afternoon.
Can we see a results list, please? I had to bail just after the Hare & Hounds as the little ones were hungry. I'm assuming mikec hoovered up some 1sts from what I saw, but was having a little trouble following things tbh.

Another big thanks to Teenslain for organizing, plus RPM and all the other who sorted the race programme, and the guys who paced the kerins.
Great day, good times.
That was fun! Good riding, good weather and most of all good people!
Nice one Teenslain for setting this up and all the people/sponser's that had a hand in it.
Bight times!
