I have them on my current commuter - I like them, there are lots of positions available - yes possibly would suit a shorter stem - not noiced any flex as such. Before this I had flop and chop's, which although good for out of the seat 'honking', not as versatile as RB021 - cheers!

i love mine.
the drop is perfect and i also like to ride on the angled drop next to the stem (if you get what i mean). i had some straight bullhons but these are a lot more versatile. -

i found mine became a lot more comfortable when i changed the angle on them from pointing slightly down to slightly up. took a bit of getting used to but i'm really enjoying the steep drop and riding position - seem to be able to get a lot more power through my legs like this.

Bought them, hated them. 18's FTW

i have to admit the more i use these bars the more i like them! quite surprised so many people don't get on with them. what is it exactly that people don't find comfortable about them - sore hands/wrists when riding leaning forward or just the riding position in general?

had them, sold them immediately.

Profile Airwing FTW.

too much drop imo, couldn't get the position ever right. and riding 38cm meant always too little room to grab them at the middle.... no good for me.

so cinelli tempo bullhorns or rb-021's? what would be the verdict? They both seem pretty similar in spec

I have a used nitto RB009 which is more designed as a base bar for classic time trial bikes, but this link should give you an idea of what they look like (on my bike, old set-up). I will part with them for cheep. Been looking for a good home. Whoever mentioned sytace stratos are totally right, though - I even had the 800's (steep drop) and they were totally comfortable.

I had the RB-018 and found them quite uncomfortable. now I have the Stratos and I love them. I purchased the 200 TT Bar Med/41 model and the angle is perfect. here's a photo of all the models:

Any views on the Nitto RB-009? and any online sources?
Looks like a nice drop and reach combination.

used these (larger photo) a lot. good bar. sharp bends and looks great on a modern build.

Hearing nothing then good things about those stratos bars.. But are they available from any European source? Search led only to American sites..

i have just fitted a set of these to my fixie-skidder. not ridden them yet.
longer term i am planning to fit an aero brake lever, but for now i am looking for something like a dirt harry / bmx style lever i can throw on the top now just to get me rolling. the diameter of the bars is pretty big. anyone done this and know what the diameter is or of a lever that will fit?
thanks
joe

class, beulah, anyone???

the ones on my bob have a "normal" lever on for the moment, so it's a standard diameter. You wan split a pair of aeros? I has bought a pair, but not collected yet, and will only need one.
