  • Rasmussen lied about his whereabouts. He was in Mexico when he said he was in Italy. Have you ever been in a Mexican pharmacy?

    Haven't we all?

  • No? Worth a visit then? How much gear can I take back with me? Do I have to ride a bike while there?

  • u should ask warney about his hints and tips ;)

  • Mexican pharmacies are great. All you need to do is express a minor fear of flying that will get you a prescription for Tafil - the Mexican brand for Valium. $6 US for a pack of 20. Ensures a nice relaxing holiday.

  • hitting the climb for today, lets see what happens!!

  • Looks like spanish guys like to climb their hills.

  • Any noticed that all of the breakaways so far seem to have a strong nationalistic flavour?

Today 3 Spaniards, and several groups of Frenchmen on the break aways in previous days.

  • and do drugs :O

  • What shite weather on the top

  • don't like big descents, when it's damp, bound to be some scary moments.

great footage of the dude breaking his chain b4!

  • one down already! :(

  • That's not up the usual tour standards for road quality

  • great finish ad a well deserved victory

  • great finish ad a well deserved victory
    +1

  • 1 down!

  • yeah..

    and so it begins..

and they ain't even in the mountains yet

  • Indeed. I bet it'll be 9 down tomorrow after ASO kick the entire team out. And fine them €100k as stated in the agreement all the teams signed.

  • Rasmussen is a weedy, dirty, cheating little cnut.

i didn't realise he was Australian?

  • "When are these idiots going to learn that it's over?"

When are you going to learn that it will never be over?

  • I think its a travesty that Michael Rasmussen will not contest this years tour. It was clear he would win last year, not Contador. It was a fantastic battle between the two. The best for years, as long as I can remember.

He was left high and dry by Rabobank.

Ive seen more fat on a butchers pencil. I remember reading that he had the graphics on his bike painted on as it weighed less than decals?!

Im sorry, but this geezer does not look well. Doesn't look lie he has the stamina to cycle 100 miles let alone 2800 or whatever it is!

  • I think Rasmussen is an extreme example but if you get up close to any pro cyclist you'll see that they are much skinnier than normal.

  • just watched highlights of yesterday's stage. pretty much chaos, much more interesting than i thought it was going to be.

  • Fucking ace. Nice to see another British stage win

  • Bloody hell. He made that look easy.

  • fuck yeah!
