I think its a travesty that Michael Rasmussen will not contest this years tour. It was clear he would win last year, not Contador. It was a fantastic battle between the two. The best for years, as long as I can remember.

He was left high and dry by Rabobank.

I think Rasmussen is an extreme example but if you get up close to any pro cyclist you'll see that they are much skinnier than normal.
