All my swrve stuff has lasted for ages. Have got non cycling friends who wear them now just for comfort and durability.

Have got non cycling friends.
That's against the rules surely?

So my newish pair of shorts which are a few months old, have started to go orange on the front. My old pair which is 2 years old, went orange after a year. I think the recent sunshine has added to the issue. Waiting to hear back about the re-dying experiment someone was going to try out on the thread. But neither pair has warn-out yet, I ride a Spoon saddle and the stitching does cause some issues, but since I covered the front area of the saddle in thin strips of electrical tape there is less rub. My original 3/4 shorts are even older and they don't have any issues at all, the material is heavier so perhaps that helps.

I love Swrve, I think they're a stand out company with amazing customer service and their products just get better and better.
I just bought a new Milwaukee jacket. Are they thinner / not as warm? They feel much nicer and more comfortable, just a bit worried about the thickness. Unless I'm imagining it?

As you get older you feel the cold more.

So, so true

Wasn't me, but I dye'd a pair of the older shorts (not the new 4waystretch ones) black with black dylon a month ago and it was fine. I wonder if the DWR coating might have been what affected the other attempt? Anyway I washed mine warm in normal detergent, first, which should have stripped out any coating and made the dye stick fine

Will give that a go with the older pair first, thanks for the reply Branwen.

what is this new modal stuff?
edit: just googled it, sounds sh*t i am out

I've got a couple of the modal tshirts, they're pretty good. Nice quality and fit well. Not quite as nice to wear as my merino ones, but at half the price I'm happy.

Another big-up for Swrve and Chris - nice jeans, super-helpful guy.
Skinny jeans are super comfortable - highly recommended

Met a guy at a traffic light today with the very same Swrve wax jacket as me. Mine was a month old (bought in US) his was two years old. They both looked exactly the same.
The light changed so I didn't have time to bore him for too long with questions about how much he liked his. My one has kept me warm right through that really cold snap this week and now it's a bit milder I'm still not boiling in the bag.
I think they've stopped making them, but this is a kick ass product. From now on I'm spending all my money, and any other money I see, on Swrve. -

Love the new jacket, like a Mil with a button-up storm flap and a funnel neck. The only think I'd like is a slightly thinner one for Spring/cooler summer days

Just tried to buy the Deck jacket but got an error message, it's reduced from £115 to £80 on the mozzcycling site, however there is a second site, swrve.co.uk where it is priced at £100, have the swrve site superseeded the mozzcycling site? I've always bought swrve products from Mozz.
Plus the different prices is confusing. Have sent an email asking for clarification.
Also Deck jacket over the hoodie?

broke out my original Milwaukee hoody this morning for first time in ages - gotta be at least 8 years old if not older and still looks like brand new

shame their website is a shitshow. and most stuff is out of stock. at least all the fatbastard stuff is.
Mine lasts ages, they just fade a bit. My super faded shorts still holds up, wouldn't surprise me if I still use them in 5 years
