  • I find the swrve sizing on jeans usually spot on, but i agree with these cotton trouser being alot more generous.

  • it's probably because they have less give than the wwr/cordura

  • Hmm, wish this discussion had come up before I ordered my 32" cotton trous.

  • ^Don't worry, I was concerned too but I just got mine and the fit is spot on...

  • Hmm, wish this discussion had come up before I ordered my 32" cotton shorts.

    This.

  • funny, I'm the opposite. usually wear 30 or 31" waist in regular jeans, but if the 32" skinny cotton 3/4s were any smaller I wouldn't be able to get them on.

  • Long shot but given the discussion above re sizing I thought I'd give it a shot...

If anyone bought a pair of the cotton trousers in the recent sale in 36x34 and want swap for a pair of 34x34 let me know. It seems I've accidentally become a bit fat.

  • Do you know if swrve hoodie is waterproof or just water resistant ? Am I gonna be dry in a heavy rain?

  • Waterproof, it's not like gore tex. But it's good water proof, so will keep you dry for quite a while

  • Is there a forum checkout code this year?

  • I love my swrve shorts - had them 6 years and still going strong.

Just received my new winter trousers. Look great but made in Pakistan. Given all the us flag waving shite on the us swrve site I had expected them still to be made in us. Not happy about paying £110 for what i had thought was a us product but is very likely a sweatshop product.

I'll be cycling down to the post office in 10 minutes to send them back.

  • It's definitely not a sweatshop! when i talked to chris he mentioned that fabric is made by that pakastani factory and they won't let anyone make clothes out of it.

  • ^^ Best. Overreaction. Ever.

Lighten up, just because it's made in Pakistan doesn't mean it's made in a sweatshop, you need to find out the facts before flinging wild accusations around the place.

  • thank fuck ppl dont look at 'made in india' label the same way

  • Well I'm lucky, mine are all made in Primark, that's near Denmark right?

  • Just received my new winter trousers. Look great but made in Pakistan.

Have you thought about asking Swrve themselves?

Just because a particular manufacturer is made in insert country name here doesn't automatically make it a sweatshop.

  • My iPhone is made in China!!?

    Down the toilet it goes.

  • Shit, you're right. I better throw mine out too.

Double shit. So was my mouse and keybo...

  • From the US Swrve site:

    "Where are your garments made?

as we have grown our small in-house workshop is not longer sufficient to supply the demand for our stuff. we have partnered with a few factories around the world to produce our clothes to our strict high quality standards. we have also made sure that these factories follow strict humane and ethical principles and have pleasant working conditions and fair wages for their workers. we use third-party verification of this including the apparel industry standard WRAP certification. find out more about WRAP here : www.wrapcompliance.org/
if you prefer to have your garments made in the US, our _blk label line will always be made either in our in-house shop, or for a few select pieces where we lack the expertise or tradition, we will partner with the experts in the field. an example is our wax cotton jacket that is made in Manchester by a company that has been making waxed cotton garments and other fine apparel since 1917."

  • Manchester you say? Must be a sweatshop then.

  • Can we have a discount code now?

  • Discount code is "SWEATSHOP"
