fucking hell, fantastic ride tonight. Perfect weather, 3 1/2 hours of practice (finally cracked trackstanding), dean of dual arrospok turned up with his crew and tore up the tricks (his son did 10 backwards circles in a row). Then flew down to waterloo bridge for 10pm (with dancing james setting the pace) to meet Emelia for a night ride. Emelia doesn't show (we definitely weren't late) so off we go for our own ride through town, (brief diversion through spitalfields market for a skidding competition) and ending up at BLB for bagels. Rode down to the gherkin to eat said bagels and talk about tanks and skateboarding!

Fred, as discussed there is now a saddle library thread, for those in search of sit bone heaven.

right after literally hundreds of phonecalls I've managed to persuade Burd Phillips to come along to Trixie Dix tonight and show us how it's done!!!

Okay I haven't but it's still on and about to rock tonight as usual - sorry to anyone who's just choked on their lunchtime pastie in excitement - just to confirm, Burd Phillips is NOT coming tonight - as far as I know, if he does turn up then bonus.

I strongly think it's because your frame is a road frame, and not a track frame, I couldn't do skid for the life of me with my old Peugeot for a year until I got the Bianchi, within 5 minutes of riding it, even on 48/16, I've managed to do some skid, the first time was an accident.

after putting a 19t cog on the bike, skidding is a piece of pie (thought can't do those skid stop yet).

so I think it's not to do with your experience, but more to do with the bike really, dunno why thought.

try and learn the skid on someone else track bike and see how easy it is to skid on it.

i really wanna try and come after work, but the earliest i finish is 9 i think...u still gonna be around 10?

Hi Dudes, a friend and I are going to try come to your carpark tonight. According to the tags we can look forward to no hands, no teeth teabagging skids, and being laughed at by bmx riders. Sounds fun :)
