  • hmm... i took my mates jvc kaboom box to london fields sunday and rocke dit all day, but it's mad heavy and i couldn't carry it on a bike i don't think... could get my osiris g-bag, it's got built in speakers and an 8 watt amp, not the loudest but will do the trick...

If you don't mind carrying the beers in my bag I could probably fit it in my bag easily and am happy to carry it, if you're up for bringing it, those JVC boomboxes are sweeeeeet.

  • Scrap that, I could easily fit it in my bag actually, would just need to take the beer out.

i doubt you could, the thing is massive! seriously and weighs about 10kg! it does have shoulder strap but i think it would strangle anyone tryign to ride a bike with it... i think my g-bag is the easier option...

  • If anyone wants to do some trix for me this evening, pm me and I'll come down.

    F.

  • ^ this looks like I'm cruising for 13 year old boys, doesn't it

Nah seriously I got a really big bag, with x straps etc, cargo straps etc, I can carry it if you don't mind bringing it?

  • I don't mind taking it back to yours either cos I know you're not far from there.

  • If there's any schoolboy want to have some free chocolate this evening, pm me and I'll give you my address to my studio flat.

    F.

    fixed.

  • Haha!
@Fred... If you're talking about getting some stuff on camera up on the roof then yeah i'm well up for that, I need to tighten up my bb cups though before I go hooning it down any stairs etc at the moment, as I don't want to mess my frame up.

yeah but that's just it, i'd have to ride home to get it and then i wont be able to ride with it, you get me???

  • Yeah I could meet you at yours on the way, I didn't mean bringing it as in you bringing it yourself, I meant it like as long as you're happy for it to come to trixiedix and use it there. You're only in Shoreditch aren't ya?

  • yep riks nose manual is the shiznit!

nice pics fred!!.... but in the harsh light of day I'm feeling a little sheepish about my shot cause Im clearly sliding off the back - dont mind if you take that one off mate, not sure its up to par.

Was a fun night peeps look forward to next week already...

  • I just want to add as well, the standard at trixiedix is getting amazing these days, when I think back to when I first started going in September/October.....so many people have upped their game since then, the tricks going down keep getting better and better, and the skill level seems to be continuously going skywards, keep up the progression guys, awesome stuff :)

  • It was really good on Tuesday and it's nice to finally have a steed set up to take a beating without bending or snapping!

Does anyone know what Rics blog/website is called? He told me about it but I forget things very easily :-S

  • OK, I think I found it...

    fortyfoursixteen

  • In Trix related news today, I saw the first final prototype/production version of the 14 bike co trick frame in Teds Workshop, all I can say is....niceeeeeee.
Ridiculously tough looking front end, very set back seat tube so your weight is firmly over the back end, space for big tyres, Ted said he reckons it should take 40C no problemo, slightly longer front end for improved bar spin clearance, fillet brazed, Reynolds 631 tubing with a heavy duty rear end as well, all in all, looks absolutely awesome!

  • 631 tubing? I'd have thought they go for 4130, is 631 actually stronger than 4130?
