  • okay guys, hope someone picks this up - sorry, not going to be there, with hillbilly doing mechanics and in the middle of something. Maybe I can pm you later Tommy about possible chop later tonight or tomorrow? A beer for your trubs....

  • JimmyJammy, there's always my mate Ed Happy Bikes in Camberwell. He'll chop 'em for a pint.

  • cool pajamers I am afraid I will not be carrying it around in my bag so if you want the use it's a trip to Woolwich.

  • you called?

  • Damn, I shouldn't have watched twin peaks :(

sounds good SA... I'll pm you as we say..

  • I can do you if you want - pipe cutter, dremel, angle grinder ( a bit overkill for handle bars !! ), hack saw - I've got the bloody lot !!

To be honest if you go and buy a junior hacksaw (two or three quid) it really is a 10 minute job.

  • I can bring a hack saw to drinks tomorrow

  • Angle grinder needed in my corner due to loss of a key :( Fairly solid but not top rated abus chain and disc lock. Is locked in hallway so access to power is not an issue. Any help gratefully received

  • Looks like I'm on the hunt for an angle grinder again due to problems with the removal of spd cleats from a shoe. Anyone around and able to help out?

  • Drill them off, is an angle grinder not a tad excessive.

    PMs on route :)

  • Hello Southies, my colleague's bike has been tampered with outside work (Brixton).

Someone's tried to force the lock which means that the barrel is now broken and it can't be unlocked. It's a cheap ish cable lock wrapped in segments of 1inch metal shield.

Is there anyone around near here with a grinder or beefy wire cutters? Sadly it's over the road to my office, so there's no chance of running an extension cable over to it.

Going to send her smiling to the fire station today too to see if they can help too.

  • BC will have one...

  • eek! Was BC the guy that brought one to Souths for El squire that time?

If not there may be another...
