Saw a double spok'd l'angster in the beigel shop on brick lane today.
Straight Carbon Forks and the decals done in a 'Martini' style.
Anyone know who's it is? -

I now also stock Arr*sp*ks as well as the original aerospokes. In octamarine only.
I've been thinking about this for a while - is there any appreciable reason why aerospoke can't make their wheels clear? I would actually buy a clear aerospoke.
Because clear plastic is more brittle and difficult to produce. So is white plastic.

does anyone else think that any kind of aero wheel, spok, hed or otherwise, looks ridiculous on anything with a curved fork? if you gonna sport one of these types of wheel it has to be straight forks to my mind.
the only time i find these types of wheel visually pleasing is when they are on very modern bkes.
normally aesthetics comes after function in my decisions, but these wheels offer nothing but aesthetics.

okay, i said it. -

My old bike . . . i have now kicked my Spok adiction and instead have decended into a deepcarbon aero rim binge, but part of me will forever lust after it for shamefully aesthtically related reasons alone. . .

that's a great bike in my mind - totally over the top.
I went to condor and wanted that frame and they said in a rather assertive tone - "there is so much tension in that frame it is totally non-practical for the roads and is not insurable even by the frame maker and there have been cases of them shattering - 2 i can remember". all that said i wish i'd brought it and put an aerospoke on it. -

I'd have to agree with you but my lo pro looks alright with a spok on the front.

I like spoks for purely aesthetic reasons...
There, I said it too.

I think 95% of people who have them also do, me included (no spok, I just like the aesthetic)

still strange that the company is still in business, if it's so widely accepted that they are pretty useless
