Two now:
- Charge Plug Freestyler for zooming around the city
- Santa Cruz Nomad for zooming around the mountains
Sadly the Nomad doesn't get as much use over here vs in NZ - silly flat countries.

What are these like to use in practice Skullhead? Was thinking about getting one as an upgrade from the current bits-of-wood-covered-with-a-tarp protection, but thought it might be a bit of a faff to get in & out.
ha ha only just saw this, villa ru. This forum is way too busy to actually follow.
These sheds are really easy to use. A fucker to build though, took me about two hours. They hold three bikes provided you are happy to entangle them somewhat to fit em in. I also can squeeze a few extra things in like tools, wheels and panniers in the voids that bikes inevitably leave.
I actually have the four bikes now that makes it a necessity, and I'm glad I did it.

I've got the fixed, the tourer, the road bike, the MTB, the semi-recumbent and a unicycle (learning to ride it is my winter project outside of audaxing). The gf has three cross bikes, two MTBs and a touring bike. We have two up for decommsioning soon.
I want to get a full recumbent, a giant bike and a tandem but those are things for the future. I'll be getting a trailer soon for shopping and getting to/from the allotment with tools and stuff.

Forgot to put my pathetic boast list up (in order of crapness, high to low):
1sjs winterbike Tange mostly thorn bits, otp (ish) fixed/free, family/pub/cargo beater
2'61 Claud Butler Courieur reynolds 531, fixed conversion, mixed original, old and new parts. Lovely for long rides and wearing tweed on.
3'70 ish Geoffrey Butler track, 531 Lightweight, mixed components. My hipster ride.
4'76 Mercian Olympic, 531, Nuovo Record (nearly-)all period, 6 speed double. Faudax ride. That is all. Unless I sell something the +1 cannot be.

I've been deeply hurt and resentful that you ignored my question all this time. (TBH forgot I'd asked!) Cheers anyhow.

I dream of a very expensive Serotta with top knotch components. I am thinking of a steel frame but would consider carbon or titanium. Compag Record or Super Record, obviously. My plan (but not necessarily my wife's) is to order one in 18 months when I am finally free of school fees. Much may depend, however, on the current financial turmoil. Rebuilding a pension fund may take priority.
I would also like a "shitter". A cheap and cheerful fixie that I wouldn't worry about locking up on the street.
Space is an issue.

Send one of the kids out to work early. Gives you the cash for your dream bike and the space to store it.
Problem solved.
