  • I'll be there well early, to give ray a slap upside the heed

  • does disconnecting the cable count as removing the brake?

  • come on, come on, there must be somebody dying to self-righteously tell me that this is NOT ok, and then go into the reasons why not?

  • No, all off... Safety issue AFAIK...

  • dont think so. it would still be an unnecessary piece of kit that could eat into other riders body parts in case of you crashing.

  • ok, thanks

  • does disconnecting the cable count as removing the brake?

did you sell your other handlebars?

if not you could bring them along and use them, if they have bar tape and end plugs.

(that's if it was a serious question, and not more of your shit chat)

  • I'm for this tomorrow, anyone going from the eastside to the induction, my plan is to leave Angel\Dalston at 7.45ish

what kind of clothers/shoes I need? anything in particaular

  • bollocks, am I ever going to make this? ;)

  • don't worry PJS, the velo is waiting for you just get well first!!!

a helmet is compulsory, but they do have some for hire

  • what about clothes?

  • Yeah, definitely wear some clothes... ;-)

  • clothes are not complusory, SFAIK

but if you decide to ride naked, I guess it would be a good idea to tape up your "gooch" so as not to get it caught in the bicycle's moving parts.

  • i can't go anymore. My chain is broken and I can't get it back together again. I've been trying for over two hours now and just discovered the chain breaker I was using is bent.
    So very pissed off

  • can't someone who lives near you help out?

Sort your chain out tomorrow and do the induction on Sunday... Or get down to Brixton... Where are you? If you're not far I'll do the Teenslain of Mercy thing...

I've got a spare chain if you need one. It would be a shame to miss the induction because of something small like a broken chain. Might be too late for you, but let me know if you need it.

  • Just got home and ready to go... Julio if lebowsk doesn't sort you out i can. We have plenty of time in the morning to get it fixed.. drop me a line my nos. on the nos thread.
    night.

  • woop wooop!

  • see yas at liverpool street, just putting in a few k's on the turbo to get warmed up ;)
