  • twice I went to central drinks... last time i almost hit a fat woman... and this time.. i almost kill a tourist...so no more oxford street for me...

I always like to cut through the nice squares of mayfair, through Soho or whatever. Or straight down Mortimer / Wigmore Street then past the Universities. Much nicer routes

  • some one did take his camera....

  • got a phone call from the police...he cracked his cheek bone...dislocated jaw...lost 2 teeth...

i on the other hand had 2 hair line fracture and wife made me take the tube this morning:(

  • Any action being taken against you/him?

  • One week ago I had to go round a woman who walked out between two parked cars on a side street. She did not look either way, she did not even look up, she was texting on her phone and had already had a broken leg. I wasn't surprised.

    Where are your hairline fractures?

If he is actually a tourist his holiday's turned into a nightmare.

Poor blighter. Let's face it we've all stepped off the kerb without looking at one time or another. I worked a summer on a Greek island when I was a yoot and people were getting iced by teetering into the main beach road as holiday makers' coaches came thundering past.

  • My laywer said that it is not worth me sueing him as he was a tourist...

hairline fracture on the wrist.. but one of them might be old... but christ it hurts

  • he was taking a photo of something on the road... with his back facing the traffic!!!

I had exactly the same thing! Some cock walking backwards into Ludgate Hill whilst taking pictures of St. Pauls! I cycled about 1mm away from him and screamed into his ear. He dropped his camera but escaped unscathed. Looking back on it now I should have mowed him straight down

  • late into this discussion but what the hey. Like peoples have said, when a ped sets foot on the road they have the right of way. However, I remember from my driving lessons there's a rule that even if you have the right of way you shouldn't be causing any other 'road user' to slow down, stop or swerve.

whatamidoing: I hope the police believed you and the tourist doesn't try to claim or anything. Good thing you didn't get more badly hurt.

  • so the jist of this thread. hippy rode into an old lady, blaming another roadie. nimbhus just runs over old lady or nuns. lpg is so slow he can't run over a ped. mikec is crzy on a bike and doesn't know how to fix them.

  • i bet you're secretly gutted you can't wave your st george flag and march up barking high street with your chest out, tattoo of a bulldog and racist dog next to you.

Larry David had a racist dog.

  • peds should be shot.
