"was a fast day though" - does this just mean winston had consumed extra coffee before operating the Rollapaluza Atomic Timing Units(tm)?
-

21.69 secs, Desi.
Could have been faster if it wasn't for the beers and large kebab the night before! Totally ruined the t-shirt I was wearing with chilli sauce.
The rigs were on a hard concrete floor rather than a stage which I thinked also helped. Thanks for letting me have umpteen goes, Caspar! Shame I got slower each time, but I did stay under 22 secs for each one.

• #44
interesting point about the surface....I set my fastest time on the wobbly Horseshoe stage though!
I wasn't there....I was entertaining the office workers at tower hamlets HQ, E14....Caspar had the beautiful Jos and the all-conquering Nhatt to work with....!

Horses for courses I suppose then! Stages are definitely needed at big events though, even with the one at Raphapaluza you could still hardly see 'cos it was so packed!
-
• #46
Sam, that's only because we spent the night staring dreamily into each other's eyes..
