Speaking as a Langster driver. They arent bad to ride, the geometry stinks to look at though.

I like the the 'standard' one for 09' The head tube is ridiculous. I like a compact frame but its far too long at the head tube. Only the small Langsters look good the bigger frames look like farmers gates.

It is a tad close to the pista though, agreed. I like the polished look. Its a shame Specialized cant revert back to the geometry used on the original Langster. They looked alot tighter.

I saw one on e-bay in the U.S. a while ago, a Langster comp, early geometry it was silver with black decals looked much more like it.

I dont hate them, I ride one, but having said that my desire to build something unique to me, having seen some cracking looking bikes on here is strong!

The new one's for 09 are not to my taste.

I'm just glad I bought my Green 08 langster when I did...

Ha! Ha! Bigger laughter against the SF and Vegas bikes. The Langster never had any grace but with those two even the paint job is awkward and gawky. Like a 13 year old boy who just had a growth spurt but doesn't know how to handle his body yet.
Oh god, now I must go wash my eyes out with sand and vinegar.

The only time I've seen a London Langster, is at an Evans bike shop in Kingston that has been upgraded badly (only rear brake, what the hell?).

The Vegas is quite cool, just the right blend of tack. I might get one in memory of my ex-wife and our special day at The Chapel of the Little White Dove. Everyone has to get married in Vegas at least once in their life.

Actually, I love my green 08 one - such a fast bike to ride as it weighs so little.

They're all barf city. they should do a Barf City Langster - just mask off areas of the frame and combine the ones they have already.

besides, i disagree with people that bully langster owners, i had one for a few months, and i don't think there is anything wrong with them,beside the fact that they don't look that great, they're value for money, nicely built and on and on.Like it or not fixies are a trend and you would be a fool if you were to think that a company such as Specialized would just let it slide by and do nowt about it. What these guys are doing is just exactly what topshop has done to clothing. is a bit like an ugly girl getting dolled up for a night out, what counts is the efforts innit? Finally i'd rather see people ride Langsters than drive cars, wouldn't you?

Stef we're not bullying Langster owner, we're simply bullying Specialized for being inept enough to create a city bike with a shitty graphic (only a handful of city bike that are actually quite nice like the Seattle one, NY etc.).

They did not do the London one as well as it should be expected especially (the NYC one is perfect as it's an ironic statement when the graphic scheme is a NYC taxi cab, as bike messenger in NYC have a somewhat hatred for yellow cab, i think).
