you can get 27" jalco rims with a decent v section

Thats quite a find Dale. I'd never heard of them.
I did a bit of checking up on Jalco (trading name), and they're a Taiwanese outfit.
The company name is Maddux Wheels. Not a bad selection of wheels and rims. -

How about a list of 'vintage low profile'-look wheels.
-
• #88
rusty, if you would like such a list, I can help you create it, but you would have to maintain it.
Just let me know. It sounds like a good idea, but I'm maintaining enough other lists already. -
• #89
Well I've looked around for some nice low-profile wheels but can't find any. They seem to have gone the way of the dodo. I'm not thinking Openpros here. I'm thinking things like Araya RS430s

50/14 and others may point the way.

...any crafty tips for getting these bloody stickers off my Deep V's?
I'm hesitant to spend ages picking 'em off with my fingernails, I'll have to use something to clean off the sticky residue (oo-er)... will lighter fluid tarnish my spanking new silver rims?

Teenslain, got em on his Mercian. He stripped em. Pricey rim though, considering its Made in Taiwan which as everyone knows means it Must Be Shit. (<<<--- tongue formly in cheek, people!)

Easily worth a trip to Milan, just to get the wheels, or even Dodici frames, and to have a drink at their newly opened shop!
-

...as discussed on the previous page. Based on Gieppeme Techno rims... which weren't exactly amazing. Probably pretty strong (and heavy) in 36h though!

Hi all... Do those DT Swiss only come machined? I couldnt see non-machined on the website. Im considering them for a new set of wheels.
-
• #99
I looked at them R.R 1.2s before going for cxp33s (how original of me). Looked all over (mainly for best price) never saw them unmachined.

Come to think about it DT Swiss only do machined versions on most of their MTN bike rims as well. Proper annoying.
