  • Just added the Kinlin XR-300 rim, and it may be the lightest deep V rim in this list, by a big margin!

  • Just picked up these corkers!

    Front is 35mm
    Rear, 45mm

  • yowzers......clinchers or tubs??

  • Clinchers

  • thought the rear looked it. sweeeeeeet!
    and where might i ask??

  • Damn. The rear is sweet. x2 on make/model

  • Both Corima
Front is obviously a trispoke, rear is an aero - picked up in France

  • No track rear for the corima?

  • Just sourcing a hub and spokes then Dales building it up for me - badass stylee! :-)

  • No track rear for the corima?

Yeah, just have to get a track conversion like I did with the front, originally comes with QR

  • agh, i getcha. Thought you were intending to run the tri on the rear.

  • Another one to add to the list;

Velocity Fusion, weight 375g, lighter than deep V but just as strong, cheaper too, limited colour thought.

  • Does anyone know these wheels could be, both the front and rear.

  • @pistanator I got these:

  • Just sourcing a hub and spokes then Dales building it up for me - badass stylee! :-)

Finding a hub might not be easy. Corima show how to convert their road hubs to track. Trouble is they deal through Yellow in the UK, the worst possible suppliers. France must be a better option. I have two sets of Corimas, and swear by them.

  • Dale built it up to a low flange Phil, well pleased :-)
I got my Corimas in France direct, cos they're a cheaper than Yellow and I was able to get them sent to my work in Paris
They're Aero +, they with the carbon hubs? How you finding them?

    Magnifique, vraiment.

I think that front wheel is one of shimanos otp wheels. Back no idea.

  • These lists are excellent in my opinion. The only thing they lack are precise scatter graphs to help choose the best piece of kit. Anyone interested in producing these?

Here is a totally fake graph I made up to illustrate how useful scatter graphs could be:

  • I thought the general consulation that the deep v is strong?

  • yep, me too, surprise me no to see more in strength

  • The test diagram was just to show an idea for a way of illustrating performance - it is not factual - just made up.

  • deep v's are IMHO almost bullet proof. my polo wheels have been hammered and still go strong. i can break 1-2 spokes and they stay relatively straight.

  • must be made from 531
