While I'm indifferent to the fate of a bunch of overpaid tossers kicking an inflated pig's bladder around a field, the truly "epic fail" on the night was the failure to spot that the Ingerrrrlllaaaand had managed to kick the ball into the goal for a second time.

I do wish England lost the first night, just to see everyone hard work of advertising, putting up poster, flag, etc. end up being pulled down.

Would be nice to buck the trend by cheering and dancing about when we lose. Rather than looking all po faced for the Germans to enjoy.
Don't give them the satisfaction.
Even when they win they still find something to whine about. I was watching it in a pub in North London with a group of 5 Germans, that was a fantastic few hours.
