I just showed this to my girlfriend who is studying for a year in Russia, and she asked the woman who she is living with about it, aparently he is called Edward Hill and he is a non-Russian who was really popular in the Soviet Union, but because he was foreign and because of censorship all he could sing was lalalalala. Her host woman si a bit crazy so i can't vouch for how true this story is...
