I think my frustration is with this whole thing that part of the solution is unionisation, but because unions are "left" people can't look over the "dog whistle" of the left. I mean, there's a whole world of information on the internet, it is easy to be informed...

I've seen a few FB conversations where left younglings went a little OTT on people on being racist/sexist, but the older more experienced lefties don't necessarily do this. It may be more an age or generation thing rather than a left thing.

Ironically the neolibs, which the left doesn't like, aren't generally xenophobic as a good worker is a good worker, who cares where they come from. Farage pretends to be national socialist, but I don't think he's really a builder: He's the one that pisses in your sink and sets your curtains on fire cos "we need change" ;)
