In that case, you know it's illegal to sell bicycles that doesn't complied with BS6102-1
Err no it's not. its only illegal if you state the bike complies when it doesn't.

About
Rollquick is an independent vintage bike shop based in Cardiff, Wales. Headed up by Dan from our Penylan workshop, it has quickly grown from a part-time labour of love to a full-time business.
Dan’s objective has always been the same: to restore vintage bicycles without compromising on function. With a background in bike mechanics, Dan knows how to get the best from each and every bike. By the time it reaches our shop, it not only looks the part – it’s in a first-rate working condition too.
A week in the life of Rollquick
Dan travels far and wide to source quirky bicycles bursting with potential. Each week he heads out in the Rollquick van, sometimes returning with tens of bikes, other times with just a handful. What never changes is his intense eye for detail: the bicycles need to be just right.
Back at the workshop, Dan cleans up the bikes and assesses each one in turn. Some need new parts: chains; brake systems; wheels. Others require a lick of paint; a blaze of bright yellow or a soft, mellow blue. Some will be converted into a single speed or fixed speed machine. Whatever the bike, Dan tailors his approach to every single one – which is what makes Rollquick so unique.
Restoration complete, each bicycle has a full and comprehensive service before appearing in our online gallery. Once there, you can browse and fall in love with your favourite! To arrange a viewing and test ride, simply get in touch with Dan. If you have questions about frame sizes, gear set-ups or anything else for that matter – he’ll be able to help.
You can read more about Dan in his interview with alt.cardiff!
It appears Dan can overlook missing brake systems when he overhauls the bikes despite his eye for detail.

dan-cingjames - coincidence?
I think not.
Clearly an elaborate, calculated ploy by dan to promote rollquick by turning us all against his unrealistically argumentative LFGSS alterego.
It worked on me, I've bought over 400 bikes from them in the last year.

I like the idea of Rollquick and, hopefully, they'll take the advice on board and fit two brakes to all single speed bikes.
The one thing I can't abide however, is "loosing" and emoticons. I think the website could do with some proofreading and refining. I do like the logo though!

Dani Foffa could learn a few things from that guy, dealt with stuff properly even if he thinks we're all twats. Leave the poor boy alone DJ, he's learnt his lesson, I'm sure he won't do it again.
