I read scoble's post as implying an extreme response to rape was justified due to the extreme nature of rape, which is fine. Mind you, given his own record of twattishness, it's no surprise people are interpreting it differently.

I was suggesting that it was a pretty extreme device, when compared to something like a rape alarm. And also that the fact that it isn't fail, unless you are talking about the fact that something like that has even had to be invented because the world is pretty fucked up and there are some truly evil people out there.
