chocolate (theobromine) is toxic to dogs. I doubt the energy bars contain much, if any.. still though, be careful.

Not mine. I don't have a dog.
My cat has just devoured the remains of a pepper though, scattering the seeds everywhere in the process.

Wish I could have a cat... scattered pepper seeds and all :-(
*Not feasible in my current job.

A little difficult to tell from that post.

Seems like the only thing that will stop a moron with a gun, is a moron with a gun.

I'm watching Tweenies with my daughter and they have the adult character pretending to be a DJ. Jimmy Savile wouldn't seem to be the obvious choice.

Most Americans are a bit of both. I don't have a problem with guns, I've owned a few and shot more. I've hunted, owned pistols, shot targets for fun (even with assault weapons) and slept with a shotgun under my bed for home defense. I don't think banning any particular gun, style of gun or gun accessory is going to do much of anything to make things safer.
But I am all for universal background checks, keeping records of all gun transactions, appointing an actual head to the ATF, allowing the ATF to better enforce existing gun regulations, banning private sales, repealing the Tiahrt Amendment, better restrictions on CCW including mandatory training and insurance, more logical laws regarding things like stand your ground, improved funding for school security (though I don't think arming teachers or armed guards in schools is a good idea) and improved access to mental health care.

I'm glad I don't have an access to an assault rifle, because I'm bit racist and twitchy.

I lolled when he got up in his brown coat and basically said "can I have a go?"
