It is Tiagra, and it has been on for five years.

Can't believe this hasn't been posted.
#waitrosereasons Did a search, found nothing. It had me in stitches earlier.
Waitrose Twitter hashtag invites ridicule
Supermarket was asking for trouble when it challenged tweeters to finish the sentence 'I shop at Waitrose because...'
My favourites:
"I shop at Waitrose because it makes me feel important and I absolutely detest being surrounded by poor people.""I also shop at Waitrose because I was once in the Holloway Road branch and heard a dad say 'Put the papaya down, Orlando!'"
One for Xander: "I shop at waitrose because my butler is queuing for my iPhone 5"
I suspect this wont do the chain any harm.

A common misconception; waitrose is expensive. It isn't. For most basics it works out cheaper than, or better quality for same price than sainsburys.
Sainsburys is incredibly bad value for non-offers.
"I shop at Waitrose because they reduce out of date items at more predictable times of day than other supermarkets"

26p loaves ftw

I've been told this by quite a few people - the basics are pretty decent and reasonably priced. Plus you also have the option of getting decent stuff if you want to.

This is completely wrong.

I used to get my Groundnut Oil from Waitrose because it was much cheaper than Asda or Sainsbury's.
There is a few odd tid bits like that which are cheaper. I believe their own branded bread is pretty cheap too, and its true that they discount stuff well.

Tescos = weekly shop for 2 inc packed lunches for under £40 of fruit veg and free range meat.
As much as I hate the place you can't say fairer than that, dinner from Waitrose costs nearly that much.
